At Tarago Valley School of Aviation
(TVSA) we are dedicated to training pilots for a
challenging and satisfying career in commercial aviation, or just
flying as a pastime. We know how strong the ambition to fly can be
and we've been putting people like you in the cockpit of aeroplanes
since 1982. Longwarry wasthe first base of Tarago Valley School of
Aviation. Today we have bases at Moorabbin and Bacchus Marsh flying
seven days a week. Tarago Valley School of Aviation offers a complete
range of flying courses. From beginners courses which will take you
to Solo standard, right through to your Commercial Pilot License,
Instructor Rating and Instrument Rating Trainer. TVSA is a private
provider of Flying Instruction services and aircraft for Tertiary
courses. TVSA also conducts flight camps during school holidays for
people who are interested in a career in aviation.
As a registered training organisation, we can provide you with flying
training to obtain an Advanced Diploma in Aviation (Flight Instruction
or Airline Pilot), a Diploma in Aviation as well as on the way there
Certificates II and IV in Aviation which secondary school students
can use as a total of 4 units towards their VCE. CRICOS Provider Code
No. 02045D TVSA is approved to take overseas students who pass a screening
process TVSA is the officially contracted supplier of flying training
for all Victorian Squadrons of the Australian Air Force Cadets. TVSA
has had a long association (since 1987) with the AAFC. Many cadets
have gone on to very successful Defence Force careers, mainly as RAAF
pilots. Flying camps for cadets are usually held in every school holiday
break with smaller camps held mid-term. TVSA Pilot Training is registered
to take International students (CRICOS No 02045D) and is dedicated
to training pilots for a challenging and satisfying career in aviation.
TVSA has been training Airline pilots for over 25 years and has trained
many pilots who are now flying for airlines such as, CATHAY, QANTAS,
VIRGIN, JETSTAR, DRAGON AIR, SINGAPORE, a number of local airlines
and the Royal Australian Airforce. We are an Australian Civil Aviation
Safety Authority approved school (ADC No.225252-07) and an Education
Department Registered Training Organisation (No. 7006).
Location: The school is
very close to the long bitumen runways which reduces taxi time. It
is located in the training area and therefore eliminates travel to
and from the training area in the initial stages of your training.
There are very few schools that can offer you this advantage. This
of course saves time and money. Located close to a number of radio
navigation aids that allows a greater number of approaches during
each exercise. This is a very big advantage especially during instrument
training. |
