Course Summary: This qualification focuses on skills required for management and administration of accounting functions, including budgeting and forecasting, preparation of financial reports for reporting entities, internal control, preparation of income tax returns and legislative compliance.

The courses will be conducted by Australia and Indian teachers.

Entry Level: A pass in +2 with a sound knowledge in English

Duration: 2 years - full time

Assessment Policy: Assessment is the process of collecting evidence and making judgement on whether competency has been achieved to confirm that an individual can perform to the standard expected in the workplace, as expressed in the relevant endorsed industry competency standards or the learning outcomes of an accredited course.

Employment Opportunities: Graduates can expect to gain employment in positions such as Assistant Accountant, Administrative Officer and Accounts Officer working in such areas as accounts receivable / payable, inventory, fixed assets, payroll and general ledger up to and including supervisory level.

Pathways for Further Study: This qualification may provide a pathway to an Australian University degree.

     Cluster 3: Use technology in the workplace, Apply principles of professional practice to work in the financial services industry, Manage budgets and forecasts, Provide management accounting information.

     Cluster 4: Set up and operate a computerised accounting system, Prepare financial reports for a reporting entity.

     Cluster 5: Implement and maintain internal control procedures, Develop and use complex spreadsheets, Prepare complex tax returns and lodgments, Provide financial and business performance, Prepare financial reports.
