Student Assessment: Student assessment
is done based on the attendance percentage, general conduct, casual
training, class tests and assignments.
Casual Training / Industrial Exposure Training:
During the course of the academic year, various star hotels would
request the students to do casual training on a day-do-day basis for
which they will be paid. Each student is expected to put in a minimum
of 240 hrs. of casual training during each academic year. The casual
training hours will be one of the criteria for the determination of
the hotel for industrial exposure training and job placement.
Career Services: By the time
the student graduates, he / she will be prepared with skills and knowledge
to pursue entry-level positions. The students also have the support
of our Career Services staff. In addition to the professional development
courses that are a part of our programs, the student gets guidance
in resume development, cover-letter writing and interviewing. The
departments seek internships to provide valuable experience and networking
opportunities. Most important, drawing from a roster of industry contacts,
apart from campus interviews taking place in the college. Career Services
will provide the students with job leads and additional networking
opportunities. This creates a broad range of contacts that are looking
for talented student's portfolio, the most important element in the
job search. It's a display of the students abilities, expressly designed
to show potential employers what they accomplished as students and
what are capable of as professionals. |
