The Department of Computer Science offers two UG courses viz B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.C.A. (Bachelor of Computer Applications) and three PG courses namely M.C.A. (Master of Computer Applications), M.Sc. (Information Technology) and M.Sc. (Computer Science). The Lecture halls are fully furnished and equipped with OHP and LCD facility .Our teaching sessions are supported by paper presentation, Discussions, Seminars etc. The Department is committed to the development of top class technical man power which can help the Indian IT industry in attaining excellence and also earning us reputation of being a dependable Human source of technical knowledge in India and abroad. The course aims to train graduates in the latest technical and software management skills the department uses a well-equipped and hi-tech laboratory that permits each student to work on an individual node of latest configuration. The laboratories are networked with the latest communication products. Our students have been placed in top-level companies like DSRC (Data Software Research Company), Qatalys Software Technologies, US Technology sources, Ajuba India Pvt. Ltd. In this information technology age, the use of computers has widened dramatically and career opportunities with the IT industry are multiplying. Software is one sector, which has gone against trends registering a good growth rate. The graduates of this faculty are well placed in the industries and institutes around the world with pride and proud. Practical awareness is inculcated to the students by arranging Industrial visits and in-plant training. State level symposium and seminars are conducted every year. This enables the students to enhance their leadership skills and know the latest development in their fields. The department conducts workshops and conferences regularly. Experts from industries are invited every fortnight for technical lectures. back
