The Department of Bioinformatics
offers two year M.Sc. course in Bioinformatics. This multi disciplinary
subject has become inevitable in the present advanced scientific world,
dealing with a key focus towards genome annotation and computer aided
drug design. The department is endowed with state-of-the-art equipment
and biological software to analyse the mechanism and behaviour of
biomolecules pertaining to drug discovery. The department holds the
credit of developing two biological software namely Nitro soft and
READ Mol dedicated to scientific community.
